We are a family owned and operated health and wellness store in Bradley, Illinois, just sixty miles south of Chicago. We believe in empowering our community to reclaim their health by sponsoring a variety of support groups, researching health information, a wellness center and providing customer consultations.
Our Beginning
Residing in the farm fields of Bonfield, Illinois, Berdell and Harland Wingert were pioneers in their own time. Realizing the importance of providing quality organic foods for their family of eight, they opened the first health food store in their community in 1970. Nearly 50 years later, their legacy continues on through their children.
Kankakee Natural Foods continues to serve the community by providing healthy food items, quality supplements, and now the BioEnergy Center. With passion and integrity, Delbert and Pamela Wingert are continuing the tradition and it is their desire to partner with you on your journey.
